- Actually, my process was: Use the Workbench Prefs/ScreenMode program to
- change modes, then click "Save" to make it permanent and take effect. Then
- run MonEd v3a. Make my changes and click on save in MonEd (it exits).
- Then check the .info files for the monitor drivers. The tooltypes show the
- values corresponding to how I changed them.
-
- I did this process for every screen mode that I wanted to adjust. Switching
- back and forth between modes, the changes would more often than not stay in
- effect. Upon rebooting the machine is where they don't stay in effect.

-
- It looks like MonEd is writing to the proper locations, the .info files.

-
- Yes, I have. The values correspond to the values that I set in MonEd.

-
- The only other things I have running are Virus Checker, ScreenMenu, and
- Screen Wizard. I don't think any of those would adversly affect the monitor
- drivers, but then again I'm not sure.

- Thanks for the offer. If this information give you any more ideas, we can
- stay in further contact via email.
